Keep the Change...

As I have stated before, I am truly excited about and inspired by young designers. I believe that if you start while you're a youth, you have more time to figure out what is right and what works. Without further ado, here's a little info about three young Black men making a name for themselves.

Hollis Chinkeefatt (pictured), Casey Crawford, and Greg Ganthier are students attending school on the East Coast who have embraced their inner go-getterism and birthed a clothing line called Centsless. It officially launched during the always fashion influenced Howard University Homecoming 2008. DC has enveloped many different styles and concepts to send all over the country, but few reach the right people. It's relatively easy to print a couple of shirts and distribute them across a college campus. That part of the job is done. And if you think they're just another clothing line, then why would Diddy be wearing their shirt?

In this case, a picture is worth only 3 words: "They did that."

Please oh please be a part of history and support our own! (Shout out to model Kyle Marissa in the purple skirt!!!)

Shout out to Port Arthur, Texas native and UGK life member Bun B!!! (I think he might be my cousin.)

Congrats to Hollis, Casey, and Greg, yall are really doin' your thing! Let everything in life (good and bad) be a stepping stone in your successful careers!

Yay or Nay?

What's up with the metal fringe???

Now, I love (and I do mean love with the utmost adoration from the very pits of my soul) Beyonce, but I'm not gonna get caught up in the hype. The glasses are kinda weird.

And Rihanna is slowly creeping into my radar. What can I say, the girl can dress. But this get-up from her AMA performance leaves me wondering.

What do you think?

Go Green

Russel Simmons' jewelry company has released this new bracelet made out of genuine malachite beads and a rough diamond dangling as a charm, both African natural resources.

Simmons Jewelry Co. is selling the bracelet for $125, and 50% of the proceeds go back to Africa via the Diamond Empowerment Fund. Read more about it when you click HERE.

No one on the corner has swagger like...

Terrence Jones aka MAR$

He is a self proclaimed man about town, playboy to the masses, and an unlicensed psychologist. He is a an experimental visionary and will put a smile on your face (even if you didn't ask him to LOL).

For all you overly obsessed fans of Pharrell and anything having to do with BBC for that matter, I have something innovative for you. I love designers and just people in general who think outside the box.
